    Overview

    This position offers an opportunity for professionals with expertise in monitoring and evaluation, data management, and sustainable development to contribute to initiatives that strengthen land tenure rights and territorial governance for Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant Peoples, and local communities across Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collect, review, validate, and verify project data submitted by partners.
    • Ensure quantitative indicators and qualitative outcomes are accurately recorded.
    • Analyze regional performance data and track progress across thematic areas.
    • Coordinate spatial data verification and support updates to spatial datasets.
    • Assess partner MEL systems and provide capacity-building support.
    • Support the preparation of donor reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Geography, Environmental Governance, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Law, or related disciplines.
    • 2-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, project monitoring, or data management.
    • Experience supporting multi-country or regional programmes.
