Overview

Remote MERL Manager role to lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) across multiple programme portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement MERL frameworks, Theories of Change, indicators, and data systems.
• Ensure high-quality monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting.
• Support programme teams in results tracking and strengthen data quality processes.
• Embed evidence-based decision-making and adaptive learning across projects.
• Oversee multi-country programme MERL activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in MERL within NGO or donor-funded environments.
• Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative methods).
• Experience supporting multi-country programmes.
• Familiarity with donor frameworks (FCDO, EU, USAID, or similar) is highly desirable.

Benefits

• Salary: USD 2,800 – 3,200 per month
