Overview

The ViGOR Research Fellowships 2026 are now open, offering a transformative opportunity for African researchers to deepen their expertise in virus genomics and outbreak modelling.

Eligibility

• Be early-career researchers with a Master’s or PhD (within 6 years post-PhD)
• Be affiliated full-time with a recognized academic, research, or public health institution
• Be based in Central or East Africa
• Have ongoing research projects aligned with ViGOR themes
