Overview

This opportunity offers a Research Fellow position focusing on financial sector development, governance, and inclusion across Africa.

Eligibility

• Open to advanced master’s students, doctoral candidates, or early-career researchers engaged in financial systems, inclusion, or related policy fields.
• Foundational knowledge in financial policy, banking, fintech, financial inclusion, development finance, or public policy.
• Ability to think critically, communicate precisely, work independently, and translate research into practical insights.
• Demonstrated analytical maturity and capacity to engage with real-world financial system issues.

Benefits

• Duration: 15 June – 30 August 2026.
• Remote format with opportunities to engage in selected convenings.
• Time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
• Stipend of USD $1,500 per month.
