Overview

Key Responsibilities

• People Management & Team Health (40%)
  • Design and implement performance and feedback systems.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with researchers to monitor workload and well-being.
  • Support hiring efforts by interviewing and evaluating candidates.
  • Facilitate career development and training for researchers.
• Project & Program Management (40%)
  • Translate research agendas into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with leads to create quarterly plans and oversee deliverables.
• Special Projects (20%)
  • Support strategic initiatives with executive leadership.
  • Lead internal development projects during organizational growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years in people and project management.
• Experience in research or technical program management.
• Strong foundational understanding of AI safety.
• High emotional intelligence and discretion.
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
• Service-oriented leadership focused on researcher success.
• Comfort with ambiguity and decision-making with incomplete information.
