SAQA Graduate Internship Programme 2026

The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates seeking workplace experience through its 2-year Internship Programme.

Contract: 2-Year Internship
Salary: R72,000 – R102,000 per annum (depending on internship)

These internship opportunities are designed for graduates who have not previously participated in an internship programme.

Successful candidates will gain valuable practical experience while supporting SAQA in fulfilling its statutory mandate of overseeing the development and implementation of South Africa’s National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Available Internship Opportunities

1. Internship: Authentication Services (2 Years)

Salary: R72,000 – R90,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess a:

Diploma or Degree in Information Management
Diploma or Degree in Education
Diploma or Degree in Administration

Experience

No experience required.

2. Internship: Supply Chain Management (2 Years)

Salary: R72,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a Diploma in one of the following:

Supply Chain Management
Logistics
Public Administration
Finance

Experience

No experience required.

3. Internship: Executive Assistant (2 Years)

Salary: R90,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess a Degree in:

Public Management
Education
Administration

Experience

No experience required.

4. Internship: Legal and Compliance (2 Years)

Salary: R102,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess a:

Degree in Law
LLB

Experience

No experience required.

Internship Contract

Successful candidates will be appointed on a:

Contract Type: Internship
Duration: Two (2) Years
