    Overview

    The Schuman Traineeship Programme at the European Parliament (EPRS) offers graduates and selected vocational candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in EU policymaking, research, and institutional work. This highly competitive, paid traineeship is one of the most prestigious entry points into EU careers.

    Eligibility

    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Be a national of an EU Member State (A limited number of positions are open to non-EU nationals)
    • Meet language requirements
    • Hold a university degree (EQF Level 6), or a vocational qualification (EQF Levels 3–5) obtained within the EU (limited positions)
    • Provide a valid criminal record certificate
    • Not have worked or completed a traineeship in an EU institution for more than 2 months or conducted a study visit at the European Parliament Secretariat within the last 6 months.
