The Senior Organiser – Worker-led Transition role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of climate action, labour rights, and social justice. This 12-month position is designed for experienced organisers who want to help shape a fair transition to a low-carbon economy while supporting workers and industrial communities.

Key Responsibilities

Build bridges between climate movements and trade unions.
Support workers in high-carbon industries to shape a sustainable future.
Develop and implement organising strategies and facilitate trainings.
Co-design events and campaigns that drive change.
Engage with community groups, activists, and trade union members.

Requirements

At least three years of experience in movement building, campaigning, or grassroots organising.
Experience in mapping and outreach, campaign design, and coalition building.
Strong facilitation and training skills.
Ability to work in fast-moving environments with strategic thinking.
Communication skills to build trust across diverse groups.
Understanding of climate or trade union movements, ideally both.
Commitment to anti-oppression work and building inclusive movements.
