    Position Overview

    The Senior Project Coordinator will play a critical leadership role in managing HRMI’s annual global multilingual survey operations. This flagship project involves coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, ensuring translation quality, and overseeing complex project workflows that contribute to HRMI’s human rights measurement systems.

    The successful candidate will join a mission-driven international team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality human rights data that informs global advocacy and policy discussions.

    Key Responsibilities

    The selected contractor will oversee a broad range of project coordination and operational activities.

    Survey Operations and Project Management

    Responsibilities include:

    • Leading coordination of HRMI’s annual global multilingual survey
    • Managing project timelines and stakeholder engagement
    • Ensuring tasks remain on schedule across teams and contributors
    • Coordinating survey testing and quality assurance processes
    • Driving project accountability and delivery

    Translation and Quality Control

    The role includes significant multilingual coordination responsibilities, such as:

    • Managing translation and proofreading workflows
    • Conducting quality reviews of translated content
    • Ensuring linguistic consistency across platforms
    • Reviewing survey content before publication
    • Supporting multilingual communication processes

    Data and Systems Management

    The coordinator will also:

    • Manage survey data entry processes
    • Maintain secure databases and CRM systems
    • Support Rights Tracker updates and enhancements
    • Coordinate annual data uploads and platform launches
    • Monitor data quality and consistency

    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

    Additional responsibilities include:

    • Preparing survey communications and email campaigns

    • Maintaining shared inboxes and responding to inquiries

    • Liaising with external partners and contributors

    Candidate Profile

    HRMI is seeking an experienced and highly organized professional capable of managing complex international projects involving diverse stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

    Contractors may work from any location provided they can maintain at least two overlapping work hours between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Malaysia Time (MYT), Monday through Friday.
