    Overview

    The Swedish Institute SI Global Executive Programme 2026 is a high-level executive initiative designed for senior leaders ready to embed sustainability into core business strategy and lead transformative change. It brings together executives from diverse regions and industries to learn from Sweden’s sustainability ecosystem.

    Eligibility

    This programme is tailored for senior executives, CEOs, and top-level decision-makers from medium to large organizations who have the authority to drive strategic change. Each cohort consists of approximately 100 senior executives from 24 countries.

    Benefits

    The Swedish Institute fully covers all programme-related fees, pre-arranged accommodation in Stockholm, and meals during the onsite Sweden Week. Participants gain an advanced understanding of sustainability, expertise in strategic business development, strengthened leadership skills, direct insights from Swedish companies, guidance from experts, access to a global peer network, and long-term connection to the Swedish Institute Alumni Network.

    Programme Structure

    • Foundation (May–June, Online): Explore sustainability trends, strengthen change leadership skills, and develop a strategic business project.
    • Strategic Business Project (June–October): Design and launch a measurable, ROI-focused sustainability project supported by ongoing coaching.
    • Advanced Practice Sessions (August–September, Online): Tailored learning tracks with live webinars, peer exchange, and contributions from Swedish business leaders.
    • Sweden Week (12–16 October, Onsite): Immersive experience in Sweden with company visits, expert workshops, executive networking, and cultural engagement.
    • Way Forward (November, Online): Share project results, strengthen global connections, and engage with Swedish embassies and alumni networks.
