    Key Responsibilities

    • Support promotion of SIPRI’s research, publications, and events.
    • Handle media inquiries and assist with communications strategies.
    • Contribute to social media content and multimedia production.
    • Support the communication efforts for the 2026 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development.
    • Assist in launching SIPRI’s major databases.
    • Support internal planning and coordination.
    • Assist in high-level meetings and engagements.
    • Draft speeches, notes, and talking points.
    • Organize board meetings, events, and official visits.
    • Support event planning and logistics for the Stockholm Forum.
    • Coordinate with global participants and stakeholders.
    • Provide on-site support during the forum.

    Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

    • Be enrolled in a university internship program or affiliated with an organization.
    • Have valid insurance and a designated supervisor/contact person.
    • Be studying or recently graduated in fields like International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Communication, or Management.
    • Strong interest in peace, conflict, and development issues.
    • Experience in coordination, administration, or event planning is an advantage.
    • Excellent command of English (Swedish is a plus).
    • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms.
