This opportunity offers a consultancy role as a South Asia Researcher to assist in the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data in the South Asia region, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan. The role is fully remote and requires availability for 15 to 20 hours per week.
Applicants must have a university degree in international relations, political science, conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related field. This opportunity is open to nationals of any country.
Selected candidates will receive training with ACLED and compensation of 20 USD per hour. The initial consultancy period will run from July 2026 to June 2027, with possible continuation based on performance and funding availability.
