    Overview

    This fully funded 3.5-year PhD Studentship offers an opportunity for international students to engage in advanced quantitative research in Population, Health, and Data Science, studying in both Germany and the UK.

    Eligibility

    • Applicants should possess an excellent Master’s degree.
    • Distinction or merit-level academic performance.
    • Backgrounds in social sciences, statistics, applied mathematics, population studies, health sciences, or data science.
    • Demonstrated interest in applying quantitative methods to population and health research.

    Benefits

    • A gross annual salary of approximately €40,000 during the PhD program in Germany, along with annual bonus payments.
    • Financial support for research training, travel, and data acquisition.
    • A maintenance stipend valued at £19,775 annually, alongside a research training support grant worth £750 per year during the UK phase, and a full tuition fee waiver.
