Overview

The Student Energy Guided Projects Cohort 3 (Solar Stream) offers an incredible opportunity for youth-led teams to gain hands-on experience in the clean energy sector while impacting their communities.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be 18–30 years old (as of March 2026)
• Be fluent in English
• Commit 5–8 hours per week from May 2026 to September 2027
• Have reliable internet access and a computer
• Show strong interest in clean energy, sustainability, and community development
• Demonstrate background or interest in climate, energy, or international cooperation

Benefits

Participants receive:

• Hands-on project experience including feasibility studies, system design, budgeting, and installation
• Mentorship and guidance from industry experts
• Access to funding of up to $15,000 to support project implementation
• Opportunities to create lasting community impact through solar energy installations
