The Barbro Klein Fellowship Programme offers a prestigious opportunity for scholars to conduct advanced research in the humanities and social sciences, encouraging innovative work that explores cultural and social diversity.

Eligibility

Hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree for at least three years at the time of application.
Have a doctorate awarded no later than 1 June 2023.
Demonstrate a strong record of independent academic achievement beyond the postdoctoral level.
Show evidence of significant scholarly publications and international academic engagement.
Applicants are not required to hold a current university or institutional affiliation.

Benefits

Selected fellows generally receive a monthly salary during their residency and accommodation coverage provided by SCAS for those outside the Stockholm-Uppsala region.
