    About The TNC Oak Tree Fellowship

    The TNC Oak Tree Fellowship is now accepting applications for an exciting opportunity to kick-start a career in conservation.

    This two-year, experiential learning program offers rotating assignments across The Nature Conservancy’s global operations, designed to develop professional skills, expand networks, and foster impactful conservation work.

    Fellows will support essential organizational functions while gaining hands-on experience through diverse rotations, including conservation, operations, finance, HR, and more.

    • Location: Remote, with one day per week at a nearby TNC office as available

    Responsibilities & Scope

    • Support various operational functions under supervision, making independent decisions within assigned tasks
    • Manage project timelines, coordinate activities, and contribute to organizational processes
    • Handle confidential information sensitively
    • Assist with financial tasks, including purchasing and budget tracking

    • Participate in fellowship learning activities such as coaching, workshops, and public speaking engagements
    • Serve as a team member on assigned projects and collaborate across departments
    • Be willing to travel, work overtime, and engage in public speaking events as needed
    • Work environment involves minimal physical exertion and minor exposure to disagreeable elements

    Candidate Profile: What We’re Looking For

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience or equivalent
    • Strong skills in business writing, editing, and proofreading
    • Experience organizing multiple activities to meet deadlines
    • Administrative experience and effective communication with diverse audiences

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Multilingual skills and cross-cultural experience
    • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and solve problems

    • Experience with research, database management, and report generation
    • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
    • Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to learn, and respectful attitude toward diversity
