Overview

The InteRussia Theatre Arts Fellowship is an international cultural programme designed for emerging actors from BRICS+ countries, hosted by the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS). It offers a unique opportunity to explore Russian theatre traditions while developing practical acting skills.

Eligibility

• Citizens of a BRICS+ country (non-Russian)
• Must reside outside the Russian Federation
• No affiliation with Russian institutions at the time of application
• Senior student in a theatre or film school, graduate of an acting programme, or young professional actor
• Age requirement: 21 to 35 years
• Minimum English proficiency level of B2

Benefits

• Stipend of 45,000 rubles for the duration of the programme

Participants are responsible for medical insurance and meals during the fellowship.

• Complete all required sections of the application form
• Upload a portfolio with links to creative work
• Submit the application and confirm status as “Submitted”
