    Overview

    The Toronto Urban Fellows Research Associate role (Job ID: 62752) offers a prestigious opportunity to work directly with the City of Toronto on impactful policy, research, and urban development projects. This full-time, 12-month paid position is part of the Toronto Urban Fellows Program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct policy research and data analysis
    • Support project design and implementation
    • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
    • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations
    • Engage in stakeholder consultations and public engagement
    • Evaluate government policies and legislative proposals
    • Contribute to equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives

    Requirements

    • Hold a Master’s, PhD, JD, or LLB (completed within the past 3 years)
    • Have at least one year of relevant work experience in policy, research, or related fields
    • Demonstrate strong skills in research and analysis, project management, and communication
    • Be legally eligible to work in Canada

    Additional assets (not mandatory):
    Experience in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology

    Benefits

    • Salary: $81,593.24 annually
    • Full-time work (35 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
