The European Commission Blue Book Traineeship Programme 2026 is a prestigious opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience within the European Union. This fully funded traineeship offers valuable exposure to EU policymaking and international work environments.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed at least a three-year higher education degree equivalent to a Bachelor’s level and should not have more than six weeks of prior work experience within any EU institution or body.

• For the Administrative Traineeship: Strong proficiency in at least two EU official languages including one working language (English, French, or German).
• For the Translation Traineeship: Ability to translate into the main language from at least two other EU languages, including one from English, French, or German.

Benefits

The programme provides a monthly stipend of approximately €1,493 along with reimbursement for travel, visa, and medical expenses.
