Overview

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in collaboration with the Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform (CWYP), is offering a fully funded scholarship for young people to participate in the United Nations Chemicals and Waste Study Programme in Geneva, Switzerland.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
Applicants must be from a developing country, least developed country, small island developing state, or represent Indigenous communities.
Available to travel to Geneva and participate in the full programme from June 23 to July 17, 2026.
A demonstrated interest in environmental issues, sustainability, or international policy is important.
