    Overview

    The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in collaboration with the Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform (CWYP), is offering a fully funded scholarship for young people to participate in the United Nations Chemicals and Waste Study Programme in Geneva, Switzerland.

    Eligibility

    • Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
    • Applicants must be from a developing country, least developed country, small island developing state, or represent Indigenous communities.
    • Available to travel to Geneva and participate in the full programme from June 23 to July 17, 2026.
    • A demonstrated interest in environmental issues, sustainability, or international policy is important.
