Undergraduate neuroscience researchers have an exciting opportunity to receive financial support to attend one of the world’s largest neuroscience conferences through the 2026 Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN) Travel Award. The travel award program is now accepting applications from eligible undergraduate students who will present their research at the 2026 Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
The competitive award provides USD $1,000 in travel support to assist students with conference-related expenses while promoting undergraduate participation in neuroscience research and professional development.
The Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN) Travel Award is designed to encourage undergraduate students to showcase their research at the annual Society for Neuroscience meeting. The award recognizes outstanding student researchers and provides financial assistance to help cover travel expenses associated with attending the conference.
The 2026 Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting will take place in Washington, DC, from November 14 to November 18, 2026. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their work, network with leading neuroscientists, engage with fellow researchers, and gain exposure to the latest developments in neuroscience research.
In addition to receiving financial support, award recipients and their faculty advisors will be expected to assist at the Society for Neuroscience booth during the conference.
