The Communications and Outreach Intern will assist with communications, digital outreach, event coordination, and knowledge management activities.
Responsibilities include:
• Drafting communications materials related to reports, events, and outreach initiatives
• Supporting the creation of presentations and promotional materials
• Assisting with social media content development
• Preparing newsletter articles and web content
• Designing visual materials such as graphics, posters, and digital assets
• Ensuring consistency and quality across communications outputs
The position offers practical experience in creating engaging content for diverse international audiences.
The intern will help strengthen HDRO’s digital presence through various online platforms.
Tasks include:
• Scheduling and publishing content across digital channels
• Supporting social media engagement efforts
• Assisting with newsletters and online community platforms
• Monitoring engagement metrics and preparing performance summaries
• Organizing digital communications resources and content libraries
These responsibilities provide valuable experience in digital communications strategy and audience engagement.
A significant component of the internship involves assisting with events and stakeholder engagement activities.
The selected candidate will:
• Support the planning and delivery of webinars and virtual events
• Assist with participant communications and coordination

Eligible applicants must be:
• Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme
• Enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s degree programme
