The UNESCO/Poland Co‑Sponsored Fellowships in Archaeology and Conservation is a fully financed program designed for young archaeologists and conservation professionals from selected developing countries. It offers an opportunity to advance academic and practical expertise in heritage preservation and archaeological sciences.
This fellowship is targeted at emerging professionals in archaeology and conservation from specific UNESCO member countries. Applicants must meet rigorous academic and professional criteria.
This fellowship provides tuition coverage, access to university facilities, a monthly allowance (2,200 PLN for M.A. holders and 1,800 PLN for B.A. holders), and support from UNESCO including travel and health insurance.
To apply, applicants must contact their National Commission for UNESCO to obtain endorsement for their application, as direct applications to UNESCO are not accepted. Applications must include required documentation and be submitted by 15 May 2026.
