UNICEF is recruiting an Individual Giving GGP2.0 Project/Product Manager Consultant for a 12-month consultancy based in Rome, Italy, with a remote working arrangement and occasional travel. Applications close on 15 July 2026.

Professionals with experience in digital product management, content management systems (CMS), and eCommerce now have an opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations.

The consultancy sits within UNICEF’s Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) and will support the development of an enterprise-scale digital fundraising platform used by UNICEF offices across the globe.

Help Build UNICEF’s Next-Generation Digital Fundraising Platform

UNICEF is transforming how it raises funds from individual donors through the Global Giving Platform 2.0 (GGP2)—a modern digital fundraising ecosystem designed to support country offices worldwide.

The platform combines advanced Content Management System (CMS) and Digital Experience Platform (DXP) technologies to create a secure, scalable, and user-friendly online giving experience.

Built on Optimizely, the platform aims to improve donor engagement while helping UNICEF increase fundraising revenue that supports children in more than 190 countries and territories.

The successful consultant will play a key leadership role in managing this enterprise-wide initiative from planning through implementation.

    About the Role

Reporting within UNICEF’s Global Individual Giving Fundraising Team, the consultant will co-lead one of the organization’s most important digital transformation projects.

The role focuses on ensuring that the Global Giving Platform is successfully implemented across multiple UNICEF markets while balancing technical requirements, user experience, governance, and fundraising objectives.

Because the platform serves numerous country offices with varying levels of digital maturity, the consultant will work closely with regional teams, technical specialists, vendors, and fundraising professionals around the world.

    Key Responsibilities

The Project/Product Manager will oversee the rollout and continuous improvement of the Global Giving Platform.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing the end-to-end implementation of the CMS/DXP platform.
    • Coordinating multi-country platform launches.
    • Establishing project governance, communication channels, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Supporting platform adoption across UNICEF offices.
    • Managing project planning, timelines, and budgets.
    • Building implementation and business-as-usual resource models.
    • Coordinating vendors, agencies, and internal digital teams.
    • Managing go/no-go decisions for platform launches.
    • Supporting continuous product improvement through iterative development.
    • Ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and donor-focused.

The consultant will also help strengthen collaboration across UNICEF’s global fundraising community while supporting innovation in digital fundraising.
