    Overview

    Temporal Technologies is a high-growth, private, consumption-based software company seeking a Vice President, Global Corporate Controller to lead their accounting, tax, treasury, and procurement functions. This role offers a hands-on financial leadership opportunity to build the accounting and operating infrastructure of a scaling business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own all aspects of global accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close, consolidations, technical accounting, and financial reporting.
    • Lead corporate tax strategy and compliance, including domestic and international tax planning, transfer pricing, and indirect tax as the company expands globally.
    • Build and manage treasury operations, including cash management and banking relationships.
    • Oversee global procurement and vendor management processes.
    • Design and scale accounting infrastructure, systems, and processes to support rapid revenue growth.
    • Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment, anticipating future public offering requirements.
    • Lead the annual financial statement audit and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
    • Guide international expansion from a finance and accounting perspective.
    • Partner with the CFO and cross-functional leaders on deal structuring and revenue recognition.
    • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global accounting and tax team.
    • Deliver timely financial reporting to executive leadership and investors.

    Requirements

    • 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership in a high-growth SaaS or consumption-based software company.
    • CPA required; Big 4 public accounting background preferred.
    • Deep expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
    • Proven experience in scaling tax and treasury functions, especially in international settings.
    • Track record of preparing an organization for IPO is preferred.
    • Strong systems acumen with ERP platforms.
    • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a plus.
