Overview

Applications are open for the Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship 2026, a leadership and career development program for African women scientists focused on climate-resilient agriculture and gender-responsive agrifood systems. The fellowship aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of women researchers driving climate adaptation and sustainable agriculture across Africa.

Eligibility

• African women scientists working in agriculture, climate science, or agrifood systems.
• Minimum of seven years of professional experience in related fields.
• Hold at least a master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Climate Science).
• Nationals of Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and residing in Africa.
• Proficient in English or French.
• Demonstrate strong interest in gender-responsive and climate-resilient research and agrifood systems.
