Overview

The UNESCO City of Literature Wonju Residency 2026 offers established writers from Cities of Literature the opportunity to live and work at the Toji Cultural Centre in Korea for eight weeks. This residency promotes cultural exchange and literary collaboration among international writers.

Eligibility

At least five years of creative writing experience
At least one published work in English or Korean
Upper-intermediate proficiency in English or Korean
Active engagement in literary communities
Willingness to participate in events and interviews
Interest in Korean culture and literature
