Overview

Applications are invited from qualified Nigerian students for the 2021 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme. This scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians by providing a yearly grant from the second year of study to the completion of their undergraduate degree.

Eligibility

• Full-time undergraduate students in Nigerian universities accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
• Must be a citizen of Nigeria.
• Currently in their second year of full-time study.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-grade system.
• Not a beneficiary of any other national or international scholarship.
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Yearly grant to cover undergraduate studies from the second year to completion.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Scholastica platform. Ensure you have a valid personal email account and phone number. Upload scanned copies of the following: passport-sized photograph, University or JAMB Admission Letter, UTME Result, O' Level/OND/NCE Result (as applicable), Letter of Identification from State of Origin, and academic results for 100 level for 2019/2020 Academic Session. Follow the steps on the application portal carefully, including account activation, profile completion, document uploading, and submission. Return to the portal to download and get your Head of Department to sign the profile document, then upload the signed copy for verification. If you do not have a National Identification Number (NIN), you will need to register for one via http://ninenrol.gov.ng/ and complete the process at a NIMC office before updating your application with your NIN. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification. The application is FREE and should only be submitted through the official Scholastica platform. E-mail applications are not accepted. Beware of fraudulent websites asking for payments.
