Overview
The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is seeking qualified candidates for its 2024 Internship Program - Session I. This program provides students with professional and practical experience at the AfDB, contributing to the Bank's development agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Participants will be selected based on business needs and deployed in various Departments at Headquarters, Regional, and Country Offices.
- Interns will perform their internships either remotely or on-site, depending on the needs of their hiring units.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age and not more than 30 years old at the start of the internship.
- Currently enrolled in a Master's Level Degree program or within one year of obtaining such a degree.
- Nationals of African Development Bank member countries.
- Fluent in English or French.
- Proficient in Bank standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Fields of study aligned with the Bank's job families, including Economics, Agriculture, Private Sector Development, Human Capital Development, Environment, Finance, Infrastructure Development, Human Resources Management, IT, Communications, Law, Audit, Budget, Governance, and others deemed relevant.
- Special consideration for students working on projects directly related to the Bank's mission.
