    Overview

    The 2026 Community Fellowship by Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) is a fully funded, three-year opportunity for aspiring immigration advocates focused on supporting low-income immigrant communities through hands-on legal experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing individual caseloads under legal supervision
    • Providing direct legal services and representation to immigrants
    • Translating complex immigration policies into accessible language
    • Supporting communities through culturally competent advocacy
    • Engaging with diverse populations facing legal and systemic barriers

    Requirements

    • Current undergraduate students graduating by Spring 2026 or recent graduates (no earlier than Spring 2024)
    • Hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree
    • Be eligible for work authorization in the U.S. for the full duration of the fellowship
    • Demonstrate proficiency in English and at least one additional language; Spanish is preferred
