The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has launched the grant titled “From Insight to Action: Health Equity Research That Meets This Moment,” which supports community-driven solutions to systemic health inequalities.

Eligibility

• U.S.-based organizations or institutions (lead applicant must be U.S.-based)
• Community-based organizations (CBOs)
• Universities and research institutions
• Nonprofits and policy organizations
• Multi-sector partnerships

Benefits

• Grant Amount: Up to $500,000 per project
• Project Duration: Up to 36 months (3 years)
• Total Funding Pool: Approximately $8 million supporting ~20 projects

How to Apply

1. Prepare and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by May 14, 2026
2. Await invitation for full proposal
3. Develop a detailed full proposal with community partners
4. Submit by July 27, 2026
5. Undergo review and selection process
6. If selected, begin project in Fall 2026
