Overview
Neuromatch, Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a global and inclusive platform for computational science education and research, is seeking a highly motivated Academy Program Analyst. This fully remote, contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s flagship programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and analyzing datasets for the Academy, annual Impact Reporting, and other Neuromatch programs.
- Assessing program effectiveness to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Cleaning, merging, and interpreting large, multi-year datasets.
- Creating dynamic, interactive visualizations and reports for leadership, partners, and the community.
- Developing and standardizing definitions, metrics, and methods for consistency across programs.
- Supporting Program Directors and Course Directors in using data for strategic decisions.
- Assisting with student and teaching assistant selection processes.
- Ensuring surveys are properly distributed, clearly worded, and up to date.
- Managing pod check-ins and other in-course administrative tasks.
- Organizing documentation within the organization’s server and wiki.
- Responding to inquiries via support email and Discord channels.
Requirements
- Intermediate experience in data analysis, preferably in educational or nonprofit contexts.
- Proficiency in Python, Google Colab, GitHub, and JupyterBooks.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills in English.
- Cultural awareness and adaptability to diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable internet connectivity for video conferencing and streaming.
- Availability to work full-time during Neuromatch Academy (22 June – 24 July).
