    The Africa‑Europe Joint Transition Programme is a youth‑centred, online collaboration initiative that brings together young leaders from Africa and Europe to research and co‑create solutions on energy transition and sustainability. Participants work in cross‑continental pairs, combining perspectives, expertise, and creativity to tackle climate and energy‑related topics.

    Eligibility

    To qualify for the Africa‑Europe Joint Transition Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Age: 18–35 years old
    • Region: A national or resident of a country in Africa or Europe
    • Profile: Students, young professionals, early‑career researchers, or emerging sustainability leaders
    • Interest: Passionate about renewable energy, climate solutions, sustainable development, and collaborative research

    No formal educational or professional experience is required — motivation, teamwork spirit, and curiosity matter most.
