Overview

The African Economic Scholars Program (AESP) is designed to cultivate the next generation of policymakers across Africa, targeting individuals with strong academic backgrounds and leadership qualities.

Eligibility

• Demonstrate a clear interest in policy, research, and development
• Be currently studying or have studied Economics, Political Science, International Relations, or a related discipline
• Be a final-year student or a recent graduate from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or South Africa
• Have graduated in 2025 or later, or be on track to graduate within this timeframe
• Have achieved or be expected to achieve a First Class or Second-Class Upper academic qualification
