Overview

The African Union is inviting applications for the 2026/2027 African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU YVC), a prestigious program designed to empower young Africans through professional volunteer service.

Eligibility

• Citizens of an African Union Member State living on the continent or in the diaspora.
• Aged between 18 and 35 years.
• Hold at least a post-secondary qualification (ND, HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
• Minimum of one year of volunteering experience and one year of professional work experience.
• Available to commit to 12 months of service and willing to live and work in another African country.
• Proficiency in at least one African Union working language.
