    Overview

    The African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) is seeking African feminist consultants to support its movement accompaniment and strengthening initiatives. This paid consultancy opportunity invites experienced practitioners with expertise in various areas to apply for specialized assignments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support AWDF’s movement accompaniment and strengthening initiatives.
    • Develop and deliver workshops on collective care, digital security, crisis response, advocacy, and resilience building.
    • Conduct research and facilitate strategic retreats.
    • Facilitate online peer learning circles and cyclical learning programs.

    Requirements

    • Proven thematic expertise relevant to the selected assignment(s).
    • Strong facilitation and movement-building experience.
    • Contextual understanding of feminist organizing across Africa.
    • Capacity to deliver both in-person and virtual programming.
    • Expertise in French and Portuguese-speaking contexts is prioritized for certain assignments.
