Overview
The Anthropic STEM Fellows Program invites students and experts from STEM fields to collaborate with Anthropic’s research teams for several months on scoped projects aligned with their expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing rigorous evaluations to assess models’ capabilities in planning experiments, data interpretation, and mechanistic reasoning.
- Identifying or developing data and techniques to address capability gaps.
- Applying Claude to open scientific problems using various test-time compute strategies and integrating scientific tools/software.
Requirements
- Passionate about AI’s potential to accelerate scientific discovery.
- Experienced with Claude and Claude Code in daily workflows.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-agency environments.
- Holding (or completing) a PhD in a STEM field or possessing equivalent research experience.
