Overview

The Rowland Fellowship at Harvard University offers exceptional early-career experimentalists a unique opportunity to establish an independent research program in a vibrant academic environment.

Eligibility

• Currently completing a PhD or have received a PhD after May 1, 2025.
• PhD must be completed before beginning the fellowship.
• Research must be experimentally focused in science or engineering disciplines (e.g., physics, chemistry, biology, neuroscience).
• Applications are open to both U.S. citizens and non-citizens; visa support is available.
