Overview

This program offers the Subir Chowdhury Postdoctoral Fellowship on Quality and Economics 2026/27, supporting early-career researchers exploring the relationship between quality, behavior, and economic outcomes at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Eligibility

Early-career postdoctoral researchers
Completed PhD
Permanent employment with an academic or research institution
Research experience related to Asia, especially India and/or Bangladesh
Demonstrated strong academic and research capabilities

The fellowship is not open to current PhD students or senior academics.

Benefits

A monthly stipend of up to £1,750

Financial support for travel and related expenses

Please note: The fellowship does not cover fieldwork costs or additional research expenses.
