The French Institutes for Advanced Study (FIAS) Fellowship Programme offers international researchers an opportunity to pursue innovative research projects in France within a dynamic interdisciplinary environment for the 2027/2028 academic year.

Eligibility

This programme welcomes applications from outstanding researchers at all career stages, from postdoctoral scholars to senior scientists.
Applicants must hold a PhD qualification and have at least two years of research experience after completing their PhD.
Strong academic and research background is required.
Proposals must align with the programme's academic focus.
The programme is open to researchers from all countries; however, applicants must not have spent more than 12 months in France during the three years before the application deadline.
