Overview

The African Union's Department of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation has launched the Innovating Education in Africa (IEA) 2026 Call for Submissions, inviting innovators to propose transformative solutions for education and skills development in Africa.

Eligibility

• Citizens of an African Union Member State
• Lead a legally registered organization
• Implement an education innovation with verifiable results
• Be directly responsible for the innovation (not intermediaries)
• Demonstrate scalability and alignment with continental frameworks
• Note: Past IEA grant recipients are not eligible.
