Uppsala University is inviting applications for two fully funded PhD positions in Education. These positions are for full-time doctoral study lasting four years, starting on 1 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research and write a doctoral thesis
• Participate actively in departmental seminars and academic activities
• Complete required doctoral coursework
• Contribute to teaching or administrative duties (up to 20%)

Requirements

• An advanced degree (Master’s level or equivalent)
• At least 240 ECTS credits, including 60 credits at advanced level
• At least 90 credits in Education or an equivalent relevant field
• Excellent written and spoken English
