    This program offers a highly competitive and intensive online training for emerging African researchers in health and biomedical sciences, aimed at developing skills for writing competitive research proposals and fellowship applications.

    Eligibility

    • Citizens of an African country
    • Early-career researchers (PhD/DPhil/MD awarded on or after January 1, 2020 or a medical/clinical qualification plus a research-related Master’s degree awarded on or after January 1, 2020)
    • Employed in Africa by a recognized university or a specialist research institution
    • Actively involved in health research
    • Have not previously attended equivalent grant-writing training
    • Do not hold international grants totaling £250,000 or more
