Overview

This program offers an opportunity for women to become Women Champions for Digital Economy (WC4DEs), aimed at increasing women’s participation in digital entrepreneurship and technology-enabled livelihoods.

Eligibility

• Be female and reside in one of the target sub-counties: Turbo, Tinderet, Saboti, or Kapenguria.
• Be actively involved in community-based empowerment activities.
• Possess basic digital literacy skills.
• Be willing to mentor and support other women.
• Have access to a smartphone and mobile internet.
• Availability for training and program engagement.
• Experience in women’s groups, community associations, or local leadership structures is advantageous.
• Commitment to work with financially disadvantaged women.

Benefits

Selected participants will serve as role models, helping to bridge the gap between digital opportunity and rural or underserved populations. Training will be provided to equip them with the necessary skills.
