Overview

The Black Teacher Project (BTP) Wellness Grant is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of Black educators by providing financial assistance for wellness resources. In 2026, the initiative aims to help Black teachers sustain their health and professional longevity.

Eligibility

• Teachers who identify as Black, African American, or part of the African Diaspora.
• Must be currently serving as classroom teachers of record in TK–12 classrooms.
• Applicants must confirm they have not received a prior BTP Wellness Grant in recent cycles.

Benefits

• Twenty $500 wellness grants for eligible Black teachers.
• Direct financial support for accessing wellness resources such as mental health services and physical wellness activities.
