The CircularEconomy4Ghana Innovation Challenge 2026 is officially accepting applications from innovative startups, SMEs, and entrepreneurs developing transformative agritech and circular economy solutions that can contribute to a more sustainable, resilient, and food-secure Ghana.
Officially launched during the Ghana–Italy Circular Economy Dialogue, this prestigious innovation challenge is designed to identify and support promising early-stage businesses that are using technology, innovation, and sustainable business models to address agricultural challenges while advancing the circular economy.
The initiative is led by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT through the CGIAR Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP) and implemented in collaboration with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), UNIDO ITPO Italy, and E4Impact Foundation. The challenge is endorsed by Ghana’s National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) and supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
