Overview
The Clinical Service Provider (CSP) will lead the outreach team in the assigned location to provide family planning services, especially long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs), in hard-to-reach and underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality delivery of LAPMs in line with outreach schedules and mobilization plans.
- Provide client-focused counseling and obtain appropriate consent.
- Implement MSI values including client focus and non-hierarchical management.
- Support institutional strengthening and capacity-building initiatives.
- Conduct at least 20 productive outreaches per month.
- Ensure all service providers maintain level 1 competency and provide appropriate clinical supervision.
- Track team performance against KPIs and develop SMART action plans.
- Ensure proper data entry and management using CLIC systems.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW).
- Evidence of good standing with relevant professional bodies in Nigeria.
- Technical expertise in LARCs, specifically IUD and implant insertion and removal.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with office software packages.
- Knowledge of local geography and cultural contexts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
