Clinical Service Provider @MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices

Overview

The Clinical Service Provider (CSP) will lead the outreach team in the assigned location to provide family planning services, especially long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs), in hard-to-reach and underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality delivery of LAPMs in line with outreach schedules and mobilization plans.
• Provide client-focused counseling and obtain appropriate consent.
• Implement MSI values including client focus and non-hierarchical management.
• Support institutional strengthening and capacity-building initiatives.
• Conduct at least 20 productive outreaches per month.
• Ensure all service providers maintain level 1 competency and provide appropriate clinical supervision.
• Track team performance against KPIs and develop SMART action plans.
• Ensure proper data entry and management using CLIC systems.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW).
• Evidence of good standing with relevant professional bodies in Nigeria.
• Technical expertise in LARCs, specifically IUD and implant insertion and removal.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with office software packages.
• Knowledge of local geography and cultural contexts.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
