Overview

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) offers a highly competitive Communication and Collaboration Engineer Internship. This six-month, full-time program provides students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in ICT within a global development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing telephone requests and mobile device provisioning
Supporting video conferencing services across global UNDP offices
Troubleshooting live conferencing issues and coordinating with ICT managers
Scheduling virtual meetings through centralized systems
Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues proactively
Assisting in firmware and software updates for communication systems
Supporting integration of new sites and training local teams
Providing user guidance on platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Developing and maintaining internal documentation and knowledge resources

Requirements

Enrollment in a postgraduate programme (Master’s or higher) or final year of a bachelor’s degree programme or recent graduate (within one year)
Familiarity with virtual, hybrid, and in-person event coordination
Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities

Technical knowledge in networking fundamentals, video conferencing technologies, and data analysis (advantageous)

Benefits
