Overview

The 2026 Community Fellowship by Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) is a fully funded, three-year opportunity for aspiring immigration advocates focused on supporting low-income immigrant communities through hands-on legal experience.

Key Responsibilities

Managing individual caseloads under legal supervision
Providing direct legal services and representation to immigrants
Translating complex immigration policies into accessible language
Supporting communities through culturally competent advocacy
Engaging with diverse populations facing legal and systemic barriers

Requirements

Current undergraduate students graduating by Spring 2026 or recent graduates (no earlier than Spring 2024)
Hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree
Be eligible for work authorization in the U.S. for the full duration of the fellowship
Demonstrate proficiency in English and at least one additional language; Spanish is preferred
