Sustainable Seas Trust is seeking talented professionals for three key roles aimed at promoting environmental and community sustainability across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinator: Research, Development and Monitoring (RDM)
- Support implementation of research and monitoring activities.
- Coordinate logistics for fieldwork and data collection.
- Maintain accurate operational research records.
- Act as operational contact for research activities.
- Update research databases and contribute to programme reporting.
- Share research progress with relevant managers.
- Coordinator: Community Upliftment and Enterprise Development (CUED)
- Coordinate logistics for community programmes.
- Support stakeholder engagement and field activities.
- Maintain operational records including attendance and notes.
- Contribute to programme reporting and documentation.
- Capture and share field insights for organisational learning.
- Finance and HR Administrator
- Process invoices and maintain financial records.
- Assist with budget preparation and expenditure tracking.
- Support payroll and HR processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Coordinator: Research, Development and Monitoring
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in project coordination or research.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous.
- Coordinator: Community Upliftment and Enterprise Development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in project coordination.
- Proven skills in planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Basic understanding of M&E and digital data tools.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous.
- Finance and HR Administrator
- Diploma or degree in administration, finance, or HR.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance or HR support.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
